Alexandra Bowman is an illustrator who realized one day that she could draw on a 5'7" canvas.

She found herself especially drawn to the Cats the Musical costumes, originally designed by John Napier, given her existing love of drawing, anthropomorphic animals, British lit, children's books (google Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats), and the Cats costumes' "hand-inked" look that connects them directly to Napier's original concept art.

Alex was the winner of BroadwayCon's 2025 Cosplay Contest for "Jellicle Anna of Cleves." ​
